Wellington, the way you want it

I’ve posted a few things that are relevant to —my home—over at our new site, Your Wellington (yourwellington.org). The one that has had the most feedback over the last 24 hours (both on the blog and on Twitter) is a post I made about free wifi in the city and the need to have a clear IT strategy.
The purpose behind the blog is to get views about Wellington, and to see if a blog can be used as a tool for democracy and transparency for the city. I’m surprised that such a thing does not already exist for a city that had been a leader with online technology.
I’d love to hear from you about some of your issues for our city—either through my feedback form, on Facebook, as a comment below or on Twitter.

Note

Entries from 2006 to the end of 2009 were done on the Blogger service. As of January 1, 2010, this blog has shifted to a Wordpress installation, with the latest posts here.
With Blogger ceasing to support FTP publishing on May 1, I have decided to turn these older pages in to an archive, so you will no longer be able to enter comments. However, you can comment on entries posted after January 1, 2010.
