10.7.07 One of the Global Village People
[Cross-posted] I’ve had terrible trouble finding this via Vox, but it is on YouTube: my comments on al-Jazeera English’s Listening Post programme about Tony Blair’s legacy. Sorry for the sound quality. I think I live in a magnetic field, à la Bermuda Triangle. I assume this is the correct video.
My bit is about seven minutes in. Triangle TV has aired it in Wellington and Auckland, I believe. Posted by Jack Yan, 00:33 Comments:
I have never seen Listening Post until right now. I like the Global Village portion. How else can we discover people opinions? You are certainly correct. This job would be a "can't lose" for Tony Blair.
Don't worry about the sound. It came through loud and clear here in New York. BTW, I discovered your blog through Dawn's blog, The Flightless Writer. Isn't it wonderful how nicely her book is doing? Terrie # posted by Terrie Farley Moran: 7/14/2007 05:22:00 PM
Thanks, Terrie: it is a good show and I was flattered when Meenakshi on al-Jazeera asked me to appear.

Dawn is in a good position with Ripples, too. I have seen it at the Warehouse, which means there would have been a lot of copies ordered in anticipation of strong sales. Even if they do not all sell at full price, later buyers will still help up the number of sales that Dawn notches up, which can only be a good thing for her career. Links to this post:
