Safe and sound now at the McFly Farm

Perfect for those rhythmic ceremonial rituals. Mickey Maloof informed me today that his McFly 2015 Project, where he is trying to get to produce the shoes that wore in Back to the Future Part II, has gained more headway: is in on the act as his new album cover for Graduation displays the shoes. ‘Japanese artist the album (he's best known for his work with Louis Vuitton),’ he wrote. Good on Mickey for influencing Murakami’s decision—which I am sure he did.
Earlier this month, Mickey informed me that Nike had indeed taken out a patent on the Marty McFly shoes:

These shoes may well make it into production at this rate.

Note

Entries from 2006 to the end of 2009 were done on the Blogger service. As of January 1, 2010, this blog has shifted to a Wordpress installation, with the latest posts here.
With Blogger ceasing to support FTP publishing on May 1, I have decided to turn these older pages in to an archive, so you will no longer be able to enter comments. However, you can comment on entries posted after January 1, 2010.
