Who would be a good Lucire cover girl?

I realize there have been fewer branding posts of late, because of my involvement in various other businesses. One is Lucire, which is undergoing some changes.
By Friday, our next will be known as there will be a glimpse on MTV New Zealand here, but I am thinking another issue down the line: who should be au couverture in December?
Chances are it will be shot in City, so it should be someone accessible on the US east coast. But she also needs to be recognizable in , which remains market number one.
In the past, we have had Theodora Richards (daughter of Keith Richards and Patti Hansen), who has some public interest. But we have also had Brittny Gastineau, Vanessa Carlton, Nicky Hilton, and my friends Stacie Jones Upchurch and , but I believe their appeal is somewhat limited. We have even had and that group who might be called demisupermodels.
Vanessa Williams was talked about last year but nothing came of it. I am after a fresh-faced 20-something. Even () would be interesting, but I still wonder if she would be recognized here among our female target market.
I like the idea of , who has finally gained prime-time recognition here through —after years of feature films playing teenagers. Last time, our schedules didn’t match.
Are there any others? (Note: I cannot afford Charlize.)

Headline: A Rose by any other name
Katherine Heigl would be a great cover girl she is gorgeous and an amazing actress.
Rob, I love it. She could be a great cover girl. And Anonymous, thank you—I feel the same way about Ms Heigl.
I was also thinking about some former American Idol contestants. Any favourites? I am talking winners or runners-up.
Why American idol? Isn't Lucire a fashion magazine? I say a big NO to any idol from any country after all shouldn't you be featuring models on the cover, you are a high fashion magazine are you not?
Yes, but if they are glamorous enough, it could have some interest. It is not uncommon for the worlds of fashion and celebrity to collide, as other high fashion titles have shown. (Nicole Kidman and Catherine Zeta–Jones spring to mind as a regular cover girl.)

Entries from 2006 to the end of 2009 were done on the Blogger service. As of January 1, 2010, this blog has shifted to a Wordpress installation, with the latest posts here.
With Blogger ceasing to support FTP publishing on May 1, I have decided to turn these older pages in to an archive, so you will no longer be able to enter comments. However, you can comment on entries posted after January 1, 2010.
