Letter from New Zealand, no. 3

In my latest Letter from , I discuss the release of and , the Fox News journalists kidnapped by a faction called the Holy Jihad Brigades. I also go on about the Labour government’s failures, and why even needs to be on the TV , or, for that matter, last night’s . I must say that the Podcast is meant to be semi-, before anyone out there issues a fatwa against me.

Fantastic Podcast -- I love your thoughts about programming and 24!
Thank you, Peter! But I think I need to shorten these—when I edited it in Audacity, I got tired of hearing my own voice!
I don't listen to many Podcasts, but the length didn't bother me at all. I can say that I have listened to a few 1-2 minute shows that really should have been 10-15 seconds... In contrast, you packed in a lot of information and kept me listening and quite interested throughout the whole program.
Thank you, Peter! In that case I will not worry too much about length, and concentrate on delivering good content.

Note

Entries from 2006 to the end of 2009 were done on the Blogger service. As of January 1, 2010, this blog has shifted to a Wordpress installation, with the latest posts here.
With Blogger ceasing to support FTP publishing on May 1, I have decided to turn these older pages in to an archive, so you will no longer be able to enter comments. However, you can comment on entries posted after January 1, 2010.
