Barry is vacant, I am not engaged

’s exaggerations of my with Brigid on Good Morning may need some clarifications. First, Brigid and I are not engaged, and if we were, you’d hear it from me, and probably on this blog first. Secondly, I haven’t made plans to propose prior to her flying out to the UK, something that might just freak her out.
But the lads and I on Good Morning do want to shout out again to , who is getting radiotherapy and a small dose of chemo. Good luck, Amber, and we are with you! (And the weather outside is lousy, so you are not missing much.)
In case anyone is wondering, the segment yesterday was delayed till 10.15 a.m. as Barry and Paul ignored advice and took State Highway 2 to Avalon, and got caught up in the landslide, which blocked part of the motorway. Natch, yours truly got there on time by using an alternative route, though I noted on my return that the motorway warning sign at Johnsonville requested people to use an ‘alternate’ route. To a New Zealander, alternate is a verb, alternative is an adjective. The and all that rot.
Finally, it was too early for me to sing tunes, though I hope viewers enjoyed the reference to High Society.

The Queer Chef pimped me here!
Cheers ;)
Hi Renny and Justine: welcome! God bless Charles! Anyway, the ring is not “the ring”—just a random photo off Flickr. ‘News of my engagement is greatly exaggerated.’
The Queer Chef pimped me here!

Have a nice weekend!!!
I really dont know but my blog is on ajax commenting system usually they come a bit later
Welcome, Rhada, and you have a great weekend, too!
Charles, coComments are meant to be instant, and what I wrote yesterday hasn’t appeared there yet. I think there is some incompatibility. Not a biggie; I just thought you should know. I also enjoy seeing a Queer Chef entry in my coComment list.
Hello Jack! I forgot to post a comment regarding your entry. Wow you are such a celebrity there eh! hehehehe
Not really—it’s a morning show rather than prime-time, so I am not sure if too many people would recognize me! In fact, only one person has ever stopped me on the street in four months because of Good Morning.

Entries from 2006 to the end of 2009 were done on the Blogger service. As of January 1, 2010, this blog has shifted to a Wordpress installation, with the latest posts here.
With Blogger ceasing to support FTP publishing on May 1, I have decided to turn these older pages in to an archive, so you will no longer be able to enter comments. However, you can comment on entries posted after January 1, 2010.
